Drop images on a composition bar ​

Drop image files onto an open composition bar to add them to the pane that owns that bar.

Prepare the destination ​

Open the composition bar in the pane that should receive the images. You can drop images there even when another pane has focus; the drop does not change focus.

Drop the image files ​

  1. Drag image files over the open composition bar. A colored layer over the bar shows where the drop is accepted.
  2. Release the drag while the layer is over the intended composition bar.

The images appear in that composition bar and are not sent until you select Send. A file that is not an image shows the message "This file is not an image"; an image already present in the same composition bar is not added a second time.
