About Heidrun Code
Who is Heiðrún?
Heiðrún is a goat in Norse mythology. She stands on top of Valhalla, the great hall where the warriors who died in battle (the einherjar) feast until the end of the world. She eats the leaves of the tree Læraðr. From her udders flows mead instead of milk, and she fills a huge vessel with it every day. There is enough for every warrior to drink as much as they want. The sources are the Poetic Edda (the poem Grímnismál) and the Prose Edda of Snorri Sturluson. Read more on Wikipedia.

Why this name?
Heiðrún never stops working, and she gives everyone in the hall what they need. Heidrun Code the application does the same for the coding agents of a developer: it keeps every coding agent and every terminal in one hall, and the developer never runs dry.
- The coding agents are the einherjar: they fight all day (they write code), and they feast all night (they wait for the next prompt).
- The work window is Valhalla: everyone is inside, and there is always room for one more terminal.
- The developer is the goat: a GOAT, the Greatest Of All Time, and a real goat from the mythology. Both meanings are intended.
- A merge conflict is Ragnarök. We do not talk about it before breakfast.
- Skål!
